The Goddess of Duality reminds us to embrace our shadow selves along with the parts of ourselves that we enjoy. There is no such thing as black and white. Just like the yin and yang symbol, in darkness there is light, and in light there is darkness. She has one angel wing and one devil wing. Despite her dark side, she is still a delicate and beautiful divine creature. The existence of darkness within does not erase our inherent  value as human beings. It is only once we can embrace both sides of ourselves that we are able to integrate as a whole Self and live gracefully.
