Socially conscious fashion designer Lena Harbali and Tracy Palmer Anti-Bullying Advocate and owner of Trendsetter's Modeling and Etiquette School are teaming up to bring awareness to bullying and to prevent it through the arts and community engagement!
Are you an artist or aspiring social activist? Graphic printed T-shirts are one of the best ways to show off your art and spread the word for an important cause. Each contestant must submit one design and a short artist statement (3-5 sentences). There will be a winner and a runner-up chosen. The winner will have their design formatted onto a T-shirt and featured on Lena's artist shop online. For each shirt sold the winner will receive $10. Payments will be made monthly via Paypal. The runner-up will receive $5 per shirt sold, in the same manner. The art should be formatted as follows:
* Traditional media (pen, paper, paint, etc) no wider than 12 inches and no longer than 15 inches. Artwork must be professionally photographed (no shadows, details must show) or scanned (visit a local library to scan artwork) and submitted as a JPEG file. * Graphic art: Recommended file size 4200 x 4800 pixels (minimum 2000 x 2000px), 300 ppi, Transparent .PNG
TIPS: *Use bold lines and colors to draw attention *Stay away from tiny details that might not print well *Keep it simple, people need to understand your message!
